Well Shadic sneaked away from his parents, then he met Vanellope. Then Later on while Vanellope and Shadic were hanging out they noticed Sonic around where they were.

Vanellope: Hey that's Sonic the Hedgehog! He's so cool, c'mon lets go say hi!
Shadic: No shhh!
Sonic: -hears them and turns around-......Shadic!?
Shadic: Papa!!
Vanellope: Papa!? You didn't tell me Sonic was your papa!!!
Sonic: Shaundre The Hedgehog!!! You are in so much trouble me and your dad have been worried sick!!! Come here right now!
Vanellope: So...who's your other parent
Shadic: *sigh* Shadow the hedgehog.....
