Sonic asks Shadow out

Rouge and Amy wanted Sonic to ask Shadow out on their first date since Shadow already had to go though a lot of things with Sonic, which were Amy's ideas, to get Sonic to confess that he loved Shadow. Though it's not going so well...

Shadow is standing by himself in the park looking at the calm, beautiful sky in silence until he felt someone back him on the shoulder. He turned around to see Sonic the hedgehog.

Sonic: Hey Shad?
Shadow: Hm?
Sonic: I was wondering *scratches the back of his head* if you....

Shadow turns around and takes two steps closer to him which made Sonic a bit more agitated
Shadow: Yes, what is it?
Sonic: I-if you would....would go....g-go

Amy: C'mon Sonic, you can do it
Rouge: For a cool hedgehog he's not so sly
Sonic: What I'm trying to say is...is...

Shadow: *stares seriously at Sonic, like he's staring into his soul* Well....I'm waiting.....
Sonic: I want to take....you....*heart bumps faster and faster as he starts to sweat*

Sonic: *takes a deep breath* You wanna go get a chili dog?.......
Amy: aw....
Rouge: Hm
Shadow: ......
