Shadow. Cream : Tough Times

After Shadow was able to take down a few robots there was still too many everywhere

Shadow: *pants* I...I'm sorry I'm not in the right condition to be doing this...

Cream: It's ok, you shouldn't be fighting at all...let me do it...

Shadow: I don't think so...I don't want you hurt

Cream: I'll be fine don't worry *Cream flies up into the air and straight to the first robot in her path

Shadow: Wait! Cream come back!!!It's too dangerous

Cream was able to take down one robot so far but another popped up behind her and she finished that one robot off and injured her badly hitting her to ground. Thankfully she was caught by Shadow before hitting the ground with full force. Shadow was able to find a place for them to hide to stay away from all the robots.

Cream: Shadow...I'm sorry...I was only trying to help protect you, but I failed you both...I...I'm..*sobs*

Shadow: No, don't say that you tried your best and I thank you for helping me out, you were very brave. 

Shadow comforts her by nuzzling against her and rubbing her arm, she flinches from the pain as Shadow didn't know she was hurt so badly.

Shadow: You're in a lot of pain..here lye on me to make yourself more comfortable and relax your muscles. 

Cream does what Shadow says and lays up against him and very gently laying her head on Shadow's stomach.

Shadow: Do not worry, it will all be over soon, I promise....

I love Shadow and Cream's relationship. I see her kinda as Maria's replacement for Shadow, to continue the brother/sister bond
